Our goal is to provide top quality almonds delivered fresh to you, and safety is an area where we’ll not compromise. We employ management practices know in the almond industry as GAPs, Good Agricultural Practices, which are designed as preventative measures to keep toxins away from the food supply, rather than treating almonds afterwards.
The Almond Board of California in conjunction with the USDA have implemented mandatory pasteurization of raw almonds (roasted almonds are not affected) by handlers. Consumers can now only purchase unpasteurized raw almonds directly from the grower.
